Here is 10 Personality Assessments that I wrote:

Emotional Intelligence

I scored 54 points from this exercise, and I agree with what the exercise explains for a person with this emotional intelligence level. From these tests, there is a lot that I have learned about myself, one of these beings on my emotional intelligence. As per my score, my emotional intelligence is okay. This means I can control my emotions, and I know when I need to control my emotions in particular. I have also learned that I am better positioned to relate with others but find it challenging to associate with some people. This is true as I would give an example. There was a time I was in group research in high school. I could move along well with almost everyone except one member I did not like because she is not friendly with everyone and she tried to avoid working in groups. An example of this score is my recognition of getting upset and how to control my anger. I am not simply triggered, but rather, I know how to hold on to my temper and emotions and only react when it’s most necessary.

What Motivates You?

From this test, I have been astonished to learn that I am not motivated by being influential to others. I agree with the result. From the score, the Achievement factor led with 22, followed by Power with 18 and Affiliation with a score of 9. I agree that I am motivated by Achievement more than I am motivated by being in Power and Affiliation. For me, Achievement is everything because of memories that one carries along about a challenge that they were able to overcome and emerge winners. I enjoy a difficult challenge and I am excited by new experiences and challenging situations. Adaptability is one of my key assets, and I quickly adapt to a difficult challenge. I am motivated to be given that challenging task to anyone and do it until I am successful with the task. For example, my boss gave me a task is designing the app for a Vietnamese restaurant that I have not done it before and this was a difficult challenge for me. Then I decided to develop one in partnership with my co-op worker that we were with at work and I took this as an opportunity to explore the skills that I had gained on Internet technology. After that, I designed the website for the restaurant and made it in a way that it remained so attractive to bring in new customers who used the app to find out where restaurants were.

Teamwork Skills Questionnaire

The score from the working with team test was 32, showing that it might be useful if I work with people who have similar skills. I agree with the result. I have not been astonished by the findings from these tests. I know I am quite poor and rarely listen actively at teamwork. Thus, learning that I need someone to help me work with a team was good for me. Through this test, I have learned to speak more and always listen effectively when working with a team. Regularly contribute personal ideas to build a good project and I have also learned that I can work with a team of people who have skills as I do. For instance, in a project, I can work with people willing to work overtime, who do not complain about the difficulty of certain tasks and try their best in the project. Thus, the test is a true reflection of who I am.

What Are Your Bases of Power?

The test was used to measure how one as an individual is interested in being in leadership positions. I have learned quite a lot from the test. I agree with the result and I am strong in this area to start with Referent Power. Having scored 12 out of 15, I agree that I am strong in this area. For a real-life example, my co-op workers do admire how I do things. This makes my referent power quite high because, in case of a challenge, people refer others to get help from me. The thing that I learned in this area is to try to give a good example that they can follow up the task they have to do. I think I am quite strong in this area of Expert Power, but from the test, I am moderately strong with a score of 9 out of 15. I have learned that I know my job very well because if I don’t know my task at work so I don’t know what I have to do and I won’t complete the task. Moreover, my skill and abilities help me a lot in my job. For example, I apply Communication skills that I have learned in college to communicate with the customer and co-op worker. I agree with the post that I am moderate at Legitimate Power, having only scored a 7 out of 15, I learned from the test is decisions made at my level are critical to organizational success because effective decisions are those decisions that produce the intended results. An example is that employees frequently ask me for guidance because I am a leader to show them the task at work. Moreover, I entirely agree with the test that I am weak at Reward Power. From the test, I scored 6 out of 15, which is considered a low score. I agree with what I have learned about myself with reference to Coercive Power. I am moderately powerful in this area, having scored 8 out of 15 on the test.

How Political Are You?

I scored seven Trues and three False answers. From the test, a person who scores trues in the ten questions is an Organization politician. From my case, having scored a seven among the ten trues shows that I am one of this organization’s politicians. However, I can’t entirely agree with the results. I do not necessarily think I am an organization politician but rather a person driven by ethics, standards, and even integrity at the workplace. For example, I would advocate for equity in benefits rather than politicize the situation.

What Sort of Leader are You?

Based on the answers I gave the leadership style mix is Three in Well developed styles, Three in Styles that need some further development and Zero in Style that need a lot of further development. I agree with the result. I have learned through this test is supporting working together means exchanging ideas, thoughts, and responses within a group but still having an ultimate say as the leader. This is a motivating leadership style since each team member is considered and feels like participating in the decision-making process. Because there is less guidance (from the leader), the person has more room to show themselves and direct the process. When work must be completed, but the leader’s input is not required until a decision must be made, the ‘collaborative’ method is appropriate. For example, suppose one of your team members is recruiting an employee. In that case, they have complete responsibility for the hiring process (interviewing/screening, etc.), but you, as the leader, have the ultimate say based on their comments, thoughts, or recommendations.

Are you a Self-Manager?

I scored 88 points from this exercise which I got 49 points on Planning, 7 points on Access management, 14 points on Catch-up activities and 18 points on Emotions management. I agree with the result. From this test, I have learned why A Self-Manager is important because it leads to good time management skills, allows complete tasks efficiently, and prevents procrastination. Moreover, the capacity to control our actions, thoughts, and moods purposefully and effectively is referred to as self-management. In diverse scenarios, someone with good self-management abilities understands what to do and how to behave. For example, time-managing is the key soft skill that I possess. I can balance and organize things for both my college life and work well by trying to finish homework after classes so I don’t feel stressed out after getting back from work. Moreover, to save more time for daily life, I plan to have a to-do list for everyday life to keep my stuff on track.

Are you a Procrastinator?

According to the test, I have a slight tendency to procrastinate. My score is 32, and I agree with the result. I have learned from the test is it may appear like putting anything off until later isn’t a huge concern. Research has shown that it can become a significant habit. It can not only infiltrate many aspects of your life, but it can also lead to missed chances, job difficulties, excessive spending (e.g., late fees), and even health issues. Moreover, the first step in eliminating procrastination, like many other self-destructive activities, is to acknowledge that you’re doing it. However, this isn’t always as simple as it seems! Many procrastinators convince themselves that they have valid reasons for postponing completing their tasks. A real-life example is I often pay by credit card after the due date because I have a lot of work to do, so I forget the due date, which will affect my credit score in the future, and I have to pay extra fees for late payments.

How Good is Your Decision-Making?

I scored 51 from this exercise, and I agree with the result. As my score, my decision-making process is OK. I have a good understanding of the basics, but I have to improve more proactively. I have learned from this test is Making decisions is a crucial skill in the job, and it’s especially vital if you want to be a good leader. Whether you’re determining who to employ, which supplier to utilize, or which strategy to follow, you need to be able to make excellent decisions based on the facts you have. For example, I want to acquire as much information as possible to help me decide, but I also consider how much time I have. I consider time versus information when a decision needs to be made fast, even if all the information isn’t available.

What Organizational Structure Do You Prefer?

From this test, I got 26 points that which is average preference. Tall Hierarchy led with 10, Formalization with 9 and Centralization with a score of 7. I agree with the result. I have learned from this exercise is the most businesses, a classic line organization structure is the best place to start, particularly for smaller businesses that don’t need a large range of functions or connections in the chain of a company. The key defining element of the traditional building is its simplicity. It’s a top-down strategy. The company’s direction and communication begin with the supervisor and manager. A manager or supervisor is the next layer or link in the company. This is the person in charge of a department or division of the organization. Moreover, the employee clearly understands the company’s objectives, expectations, and job responsibilities and jobs are clearly defined. Hence, there is no confusion about who is in charge of what. For example, my current job is as a server in a restaurant, so I work at a workplace that a manager does not supervise. Still, I know what duties I need to do, such as greeting the customer and achieving customer satisfaction.
